TTD cancelled VIP Break Darshan on November 27, 2023
The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the governing body of the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, has canceled the VIP Break Darshan for November 27, 2023. This decision has been taken due to administrative reasons. As a result, no recommendation letters will be accepted on November 26, 2023.
The TTD has appealed to devotees to cooperate with this decision and make note of the change. The VIP Break Darshan is a special darshan that allows devotees to have a shorter darshan of Lord Venkateswara. This darshan is typically reserved for high-ranking officials and dignitaries.
The cancellation of the VIP Break Darshan is likely due to the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Tirumala. Modi is scheduled to visit the temple on November 27, 2023. The TTD is likely taking this step to ensure the security and smooth flow of devotees during the Prime Minister’s visit.
Devotees who were planning to avail of the VIP Break Darshan on November 27, 2023, are advised to opt for the general darshan option. The general darshan is open to all devotees and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
